We've had a revolution and a new committee have taken over. Ok so I lied as we’ve just had the AGM and elected a new committee, well we forced them to do it, we have the photos. Andy tried to resist so we had to make an example of him. Not so fast, new webmaster. I am still around and still monitoring from afar. What's more I have just found a load of Jenn's pictures on my hard drive, so I present to you  'RUCC in  A Wig'. Let this act as a shiny and manageable example to next year's intake.

So farewell, Jenn. See you next year. Also, if anyone  is around on 31 July I will be in the Back of Beyond, Reading from 8.00 onwards. Leaving the UK 1 August. Honest. UPDATE : My online diary is here. Please please let me have any advice about what to do in wherever I am.

A New Sport is Born!

RUCC has great pleasure in announcing that it has invented a whole new sport. Yesterday saw the first ever Welly Bean racing championship, held at Palmer Park. Fastest time over the obstacle course was set by Caitlin. Exclusive photos are here. Expect the second contest at CHECC.

Can You Tell What It Is Yet?

J has just e-mailed round with his 'Art Attack' idea. As far as I can tell this apparently involves inscribing the word 'thrusk' 100 feet high on a Yorkshire hillside, using just wetsocks. He did this rudimentary mock up:

And he mentioned small black & white animals on ropes. So here's another (arrestable) suggestion.

Skydiving - Tick. Next Up?

This Friday we mostly went indoor skydiving in Milton Keynes, in honour of Marie leaving us. Next up - Charlotte wants to go bobsleighing. In Bath. Any takers?

Couple of other things - next trip is next weekend, and if anyone has any photos of previous trips could you get them to me.

Just found this on the internet. I'm shocked and appalled...

On a separate please note that the South Wales trip (17th-19th June) has been changed to 24th-26th June as it clashes with the summer ball. The next trip is Yorkshire 27th-30th May (Bank Holiday!) Let Charlotte know if you want to come on either of the trips. In the meantime, best of luck to anyone grappling with exams.
